Before you declare a Human Development major/minor

We would like to make sure you have as enjoyable and useful an advising experience as possible. To make sure your Human Development faculty advisor can provide you with the information you need, please follow theses instructions before completing the Pre-Declaration Form.  The tasks below will give you important information to be a stronger major.  Click on the highlighted links to take you to the relevant documents/websites.

  2. Access your ‘Degree Progress report’  in your student information system (SIS) account.
  3. Explore the career options.
  4. Examine the course requirements and suggested timeline for taking courses.
  5. Read answers to Frequently Asked Questions
  6. Be aware of the Independent study options.
  7. Review the Human Development Learning Outcomes
  8. Identify your Advisor.

NOTE:  Review the information listed above BEFORE your Advisor meeting.  Please bring in the Pre-Declaration Form to your first meeting. 

You cannot declare your Major/Minor unless you have this form completed.
