Bachelor's Degree
Careers with a Bachelor's degree in Human Development can vary considerably based on students' specific experiences and skills. A graduate with a major in Human Development, a minor in Business Administration, and excellent computer skills may be competitive for very different positions than someone with a Human Development major, psychology minor, and various volunteer and internship experiences in human service agencies. A sample of first jobs reported by Class of 2002 Human Development majors includes: Kids in Safety Seats Coordinator; Customer Service Representative; Daycare Teacher; Youth Advocate; Insurance Quoter; Case Worker; Inside Sales Representative; and Child Life Specialist.
