New Faculty


Prior to the beginning of each academic year, new incoming tenure-track faculty are introduced to the University through an orientation program.  The first event is a welcoming day, which begins with the Chancellor's Convocation and is followed by a luncheon and a campus tour.

Once on campus, new faculty are integrated into the UW-Green Bay academic and campus culture through a mentoring program designed to provide information, advice, and counsel on issues related to teaching, professional advancement, and service.

To complete the orientation program, informational seminars and a hands-on technology workshop are held throughout the academic year.  The 2007-2008 schedule is as follows (click on event title for more information):
