The UW System Office of General Counsel is
hosting the 2004 UW System Department Chairs Workshop to be held
on Thursday, November 11, 2004, at the J.F. Friedrick Center on
the UW-Madison campus. This year's workshop will focus on legal
issues facing department chairs at UW institutions.
UW-System is asking us to send a team of six
chairs to this workshop. The Provost's Office will pay the
workshop registration fee and transportation expenses. Lodging
expenses at the Friedrick Inn will also be paid if you respond
to this request by Friday, October 8, 2004.
Please see the agenda below. If you are
interested in attending please respond to this e-mail with your
name and department. The first six chairs to respond will serve
as our campus team. If you have questions, please call Tim
Sewall at 2033.
