What is Interdisciplinarity?
The term Interdisciplinary reflects specifically on UW-Green Bay's motto: "Connecting Learning to Life." This means that students attending Green Bay will not major in a single subject, such as History, Economics, Physics, etc, but overlapping subjects that help students to use their information in the real world. For example; an Environmentalist cannot simply study Environmental science textbooks to use their knowledge in the field. They would also need Political Science as well as Sociology. To be put simply, Interdisciplinary is to learn multiple subjects.
