Spring 2006 Interdisciplinary Book Clubs

The goal of these Book Clubs is to foster a stronger sense of Interdisciplinarity in our teaching through regular group discussion of select works noted for the educational significance of their key themes.

Multiple groups were formed with from different disciplines. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet new faculty, share interpretations, classroom application ideas, and enrich teaching through sharing perspectives with colleagues.  Group discussions (two or more each semester) provide faculty with an ongoing teaching development opportunity which can impact classrooms in exciting new ways.
