The purpose of the Library and Instructional Technology Committee is provide advice to the Associate Provost for Information SErvices regarding instructional technology and library policies and services.
Andrew Kersten chairs the LITC for the second year in a row. In recent years the Committee has sponsored surveys regarding library and media services, investigated information literacy assessment, the use of podcasting in instruction, and reviewed new technologies, such as wikis and blogs. In 2007/08 the Committee is reviewing clicker technology for a spring semester pilot and assisting with the design of a learning commons in the Cofrin Library building.
