The University of Jordan's Language Center comprises four fully-equipped language laboratories, two individualized listening rooms, a video library, a translation laboratory, classrooms, an auditorium, and other teaching/learning facilities and tools.
The Language Center’s greatest asset is its teaching staff. Over the past several years, Language Center faculty have participated in intensive seminars, workshops, and peer sessions focusing on class management, teacher-student relations, language skills, communication skills, testing and other subjects. The Language Center is a pioneer in the country and region in authoring its own books for students. All students of English and Arabic use books that were written and prepared by the Center.
The Center prides itself on three strengths in particular: its central location on the beautiful UJ campus and in the capital Amman; the excellent qualifications and renowned experience of its instructors; and the rich, diverse backgrounds of its students. The Language Center has an unwavering commitment to providing the best possible support for its international students, both academically and in terms of the services provided, to ensure valuable education and a memorable stay at the University of Jordan.
