Funding / Support
The UWIIN is funded by the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, for "innovative approaches to international education and collaboration among institutions." Funds for the project are administered by NAFSA: Association of International Educators, in what was viewed as “one of the most highly competitive grant programs” in NAFSA's nearly sixty-year history.
