Notes: Only students taking regular on-campus courses are counted; extension, remedial, study abroad, high school and agency funded enrollments are excluded. Extended Degree students are tallied below but are not included in the table unless they are also taking regular courses on campus. The tuition estimates incorporate information about the students' residencies and credit loads.  Projections are based on last years trends.  Projections for New Freshmen and Undergraduate Specials can not yet be made.  For those categories the projection is set at the goal.

  • Advanced registration for continuing students is largely complete.  At this time, enrollments continue to be well ahead of last year in both heads (up 122, or 3.4%) and FTEs (up 96, or 3.1%).
  • The increase is coming almost entirely from continuing undergraduates, who are up 136 FTE (about 4.8%).
  • Next week we will begin tracking enrollments against our FTE target of 4,357.  Our target has not increased from last year.  Last year we over-shot our on-campus enrollment target by about 0.7%, or 30 FTE.
  • We do not yet have a confirmed tuition revenue target or tuition rates for Fall 2001.  The estimates shown above are based on the Fall 2000 fee structure.
  • EDP has currently enrolled 240 students for 108 FTE that will be counted in the Fall 2001 campus FTE total.  This compares with 233 students and 99 FTE last year.
  • We appear to be heading for a second year of improvements in the retention of new freshmen.  Reliable figures can not be estimated until after Spring suspensions can be removed from the calculation.
