Notes: Only students taking regular on-campus courses are counted;
extension, remedial, study abroad, high school and agency funded enrollments are excluded.
Extended Degree students are tallied below but are not included in the table unless they
are also taking regular courses on campus. The tuition estimates incorporate information
about the students' residencies and credit loads. Projections are
based on last years trends. Projections for New Freshmen and
Undergraduate Specials can not yet be made. For those categories the
projection is set at the goal.
- Advanced registration for continuing students is over 99% complete. At this time,
total enrollments continue to be well ahead of last year in both heads
(up 117, or 3.1%) and FTEs (up 78, or 2.4%).
-
The increase is coming almost entirely from continuing undergraduates, who are up
121 FTE (about 4.2%).
- Our enrollment target is 4,357 FTE, which includes the Extended
Degree Program. We can not project New Freshman registrations until the
completion of SOAR in mid-June.
- We do not yet have a confirmed tuition revenue target or tuition rates
for Fall 2001. The estimates shown above are based on the Fall
2000 fee structure.
- EDP has currently enrolled 245 students (20 of whom are also taking
regular campus courses) and 108 FTE that will be
counted in the Fall 2001 campus totals. This compares with 239 students
and 99 FTE last year.
- We appear to be heading for a second year of improvements in the
retention of new freshmen and of second-year students. Retention
rates for those cohorts may be as much as 3-4% higher than the
prior year. Reliable figures can not be calculated until after Spring suspensions are removed from the
calculation.
