Notes: Only students taking regular on-campus courses are counted.
Extension, remedial, study abroad, high school, and agency-funded enrollments are
excluded.
Comparison to targets:
- Including EDP, our Spring 2002 enrollment total is currently
4178 FTE. This is an all-time high for Spring FTE enrollments at
UW-Green Bay.
- The
value of current registrations is $7,157,813, about $135,000 over the Spring Gross Tuition
target.
Comparison to last year's enrollments:
Continuing undergraduate enrollments are larger primarily because we
enrolled more students in Fall 2001 than Fall 2000. Other enrollment
categories have similar enrollments as last year.
90.4% of the Fall 2001 New Full-time Freshmen have enrolled
for Spring 2002, compared to 89.1% last year (a 1.4% retention improvement
for this time period).
There is a 9% decline in FTE enrollment by
non-resident students this spring compared to last spring.
Looking to the future:
- The Admission's Office will stop accepting applications for
Fall 2002 New Freshmen on February 15. This is the same date
we closed for admissions last year. As in the past, space will be made
available for exceptional students, whose applications will be individually
reviewed.
- The Admission's Office will continue accepting applications
for Fall 2002 Transfers at this time. However, it is becoming
increasingly likely that UW-Green Bay will stop accepting transfer
applications possibly as early as March, approximately four months earlier
than last year.
