Comparison to targets:

  • UW-Green Bay does not have specific FTE or headcount targets for spring semesters.  We anticipate needing about 4000 FTE (92% of the Fall goal of 4357 FTE) in order to achieve our tuition revenue goals.  Including EDP, our Spring 2002 enrollment total is currently 4103 FTE.
  • Our Spring Gross Tuition target is $7,022,312.  The value of current registrations is $6,956,623 (about $65,000 short of the target).  Last spring, tuition revenues increased 1.3% between this time and the start of the term.  If a similar trend is followed this year, we will achieve the target.

Comparison to last year's enrollments:

  • Undergraduate enrollments are larger, primarily because we enrolled more students in Fall 2001 than Fall 2000.
  • Freshman retention into their second term appears to be strong.
  • There may be a decline in enrollment by non-resident students this spring, perhaps related to the increase in the non-resident tuition rate.  In the graph below, international students and students from Minnesota are excluded.  The Spring 2002 numbers are, of course, preliminary.  Data from the other semesters are final figures.
    Spring FTE Enrollment Graph

  • The Extended Degree Program has enrolled 190 students for 67 FTE for this reporting period (compared with 199 students and 69 FTE last year).
