(1) Tuition value estimates are based on students' academic levels, credit loads and residencies and 2002/03 tuition rates.
(2) EDP data cover the enrollment period from 7/1/2002 through the present.

Highlights

  • We need to wait until later in the enrollment cycle to make comparisons to last year.  The sophomore class is largely registered, and the freshmen are actively registering this week.

  • The web-based registration system has allowed students to register much more rapidly this semester than in the past.  We registered over 800 more students in the past week than we did during the second week of priority registration last year.

  • Our tuition revenue target for Spring 2003 will be about $7.9M.

  • While we do not have a specific FTE target for spring terms, we usually expect to register about 90%-92% as many Full-time Equivalent Students in the spring as we did the prior fall.  Our Fall 2002 FTE ended at 4,416 FTE, so we would expect to enroll approximately 4,000 FTE in Spring 2003. Last year's 4,181 FTE was a historic high for a spring term, and is not expected to be repeated this year.
