Notes: Only students taking regular on-campus courses are counted; extension, remedial, study abroad, high school and agency funded enrollments are excluded. Extended Degree students are tallied in Part 2 but not Part 1, unless they are also taking regular courses on campus. The tuition estimates incorporate information about the students' residencies and credit loads.

  • Overall full-time equivalent (FTE) enrollments are 3.4% ahead of last year at this time.
  • In comparison to last year at this time, transfer student enrollments are up 57 FTE (25%), graduate students are up 11 FTE (52%) and reentry undergraduates are up 5 FTE (13%).0.8% over their target.
  • We have now enrolled 864 FTE of New Freshmen.  The total could reach almost 900 FTE if last year's pattern is followed.
  • EDP has currently enrolled 245 students for 100 FTE that will be counted in the Fall 2000 total for the campus (compared to finals of 241 heads and 106 FTE last year).
  • If we do not restrict enrollment activity in at least some categories, we could end up 3% to 5% over our targeted service level. The Enrollment Management Committee is meeting on Wednesday, June 21 to make decisions about restricting registration for Fall 2000.
