Notes: Only students taking regular on-campus courses are counted; extension, remedial, study abroad, high school and agency funded enrollments are excluded. Extended Degree students are tallied in Part 2 but not Part 1, unless they are also taking regular courses on campus. The tuition estimates incorporate information about the students' residencies and credit loads.

  • Overall full-time equivalent (FTE) enrollments are 2.9% ahead of last year at this time.
  • In comparison to last year at this time, transfer student enrollments are up 56 FTE (23%), graduate students are up 10 FTE (45%), and reentry undergraduates are up 4 FTE (9%).
  • Continuing Undergraduates are down 6 FTE from last year and are 0.7% over their target of 2862 FTE.
  • We have now enrolled 869 FTE of New Freshmen, almost right on the target of 865.  Last year we had enrolled  805 FTE of New Freshmen by this point.
  • EDP has currently enrolled 245 students for 99 FTE that will be counted in the Fall 2000 total for the campus (compared to finals of 241 heads and 108 FTE last year).
  • An Enrollment Management Subcommittee met last week and closed Fall 2000 admission for New Freshmen and New Transfers as of June 30, 2000.  In coming weeks, we should see enrollments in those categories move slowly into alignment with their targets, and should see the overall projection move to within the 1% margin.
