We are currently still using last year's tuition
rates. Resident undergraduate rates will be frozen for Fall 2000 but
non-resident and graduate rates will increase.

*Projections are based on last year's trends within each category.
**Undergraduate Specials can not be accurately projected until later in the summer.
Notes: Only students taking regular on-campus courses are
counted; extension, remedial, study abroad, high school and agency funded enrollments are
excluded. Extended Degree students are tallied in Part 2 but not Part 1, unless they are
also taking regular courses on campus. The tuition estimates incorporate information about
the students' residencies and credit loads.
- Overall full-time equivalent (FTE) enrollments are 2.8% ahead of last year at this
time.
- In comparison to last year at this time, transfer student enrollments are up
56 FTE (21%), graduate students are up 10 FTE (43%), and reentry undergraduates are up
4 FTE (4%).
- Continuing Undergraduates are down 6 FTE from last year and are
projected to end up 0.7%
over their target of 2862 FTE.
- We have now enrolled 869 FTE of New Freshmen, almost right on the
target of 865. Last year we had enrolled 819 FTE of New
Freshmen by this point.
- EDP has currently enrolled 245 students for 99 FTE that will be counted in the Fall
2000 total for the campus (compared to finals of 241 heads and 108 FTE last year).
- Admission for New Freshmen and New Transfers is closed. New
students who have already been admitted will continue to register
throughout the summer. Last week's projected placed us 2.8% over
the target for regular (Non-EDP) students; this week's projection
places us 2.2% over target. The projection should continue to
come into alignment with our target as the summer progresses.
