*Projections are based on last year's trends within each category.
Notes: Only students taking regular on-campus courses are
counted; extension, remedial, study abroad, high school and agency funded enrollments are
excluded. Extended Degree students are tallied in Part 2 but not Part 1, unless they are
also taking regular courses on campus. The tuition estimates incorporate information about
the students' residencies and credit loads.
- Overall full-time equivalent (FTE) enrollments are 2.8% ahead of last year at this
time and are already slightly over our Fall 2000 target of 4357.
- In comparison to last year at this time, continuing undergraduates
are up 46 FTE (2%), transfer student enrollments are up 23 FTE (7%), reentries are up
5 FTE (9%) and graduate students are up 2 FTE (5%).
- We have now enrolled 895 FTE of New Freshmen, 3.5% over the target of 865. Last year we had enrolled
828 FTE of New
Freshmen by this point.
- EDP has currently enrolled 245 students for 99 FTE that will be counted in the Fall
2000 total for the campus (compared to finals of 241 heads and 108 FTE last year).
- The tuition value of current registrations is $6,986,381, about
$100,000 under the final target. We are projected to reach the
tuition revenue target.
- Registration of new undergraduate students for Fall 2000 is highly
restricted at this time. Those restrictions are working to bring
our enrollments down closer to our overall target. The projected
surplus fell from 3.3% last week to 2.7% this week, and should
continue to fall as opening day approaches.
