The International Visiting Scholars Program is a joint initiative between the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay and St. Norbert College.

The purpose of the program is to bring well-qualified professionals from other countries to lecture and teach on the two campuses and to provide educational benefits to the citizens of Green Bay and surrounding communities.

The overall objective is to improve international understanding by providing opportunities to learn from visiting scholars and for them to learn from us.

News:

Rana Husseini, a visiting scholar from Jordan, completed her visit in the Green Bay area on April 14. Community citizens and students at St. Norbert College and UW-Green Bay were the beneficiaries of Ms. Husseini’s many presentations and discussions on the subject of honor killings, a topic based on her book Murder in the Name of Honor.

The next scheduled visiting scholar is Patricia Isasa from Argentina. She is scheduled to be in the Green Bay area in the last two weeks of September 2012.
