The Kress Events Center is the headquarters for workouts, weight training, intramural sports and more! The facility features an athletics training room, two weight rooms, a cardio deck, an Olympic-sized pool, racquetball courts, a climbing tower, outdoor playing fields, and a multipurpose gymnasium for basketball, volleyball and indoor tennis.

Open gym is open for all students/members on a first come first serve basis. The Kress Events Center is used by a wide variety of users groups and for many reasons, such as recreation, intramurals, athletic events, campus events, rentals, and physical education classes. The demand for the use of the limited space presents a demanding challenge for the Kress Events Center. The gyms may not be reserved for open recreation purposes only, reservations by University student group programs are always welcome. Students/members can check the facility and gym schedule online. Every attempt is made to keep this schedule up to date but it can change daily, or sometimes even hourly.

	Front Desk Friendly Kress Center staff will assist you in renting lockers and towels, check out sports equipment, and answer any questions you may have. The Front Desk also sells snacks and beverages.

	Free-Weight Room, Magnum and Fitness Center, Cardio Deck The Kress Events Center Weight Rooms have a full line of Magnum weight machines, free weight equipment, exercise bikes, stairclimbers, elliptical trainers, and treadmills to meet your exercise needs.
	Climbing Tower 28' six rope station climbing tower located in the Health and Wellness Center. Members must take an orientation class (2.5 hours) to climb. Class is free to UWGB students. Members need to pass a skills check test. Upon completion of the about requirements, you will receive a climb card valid for one full year of open climbing. After one year, Members must renew their climbing card by passing a second skills check test. To sign up for an orientation class stop at the Kress Center Front Desk. 	Main Gym The main gym area can accommodate 6 basketball courts, 2 tennis courts, 6 volleyball courts or various combinations of each.
	2 Racquetball/Handball/Walleyball Courts Racquetball and Walleyball courts can be reserved one day in advance over the phone (465-2449) or in person at the Kress Events Center front desk. Racquetball rackets may be checked out free of charge. Racquetballs are not free and can be purchased at the front desk of the Kress Events Center
	Pool Pool, Exercise Pool The Kress Events Center offers a large 96 foot long swimming pool with 1 and 3 meter diving boards, for all types of swimming activities and programs. The pool has 8 lanes for those who enjoy lap swimming. Fitness classes and open pool sessions are available at different times throughout the day.

Softball Diamond Soccer Fields, Softball Diamonds, Lighted Tennis Courts
The outdoor facilities for the Kress Events Center include 6 tennis courts, 4 soccer fields, 2 Softball Diamonds, and 1 football field. Tennis courts are lighted for night use. Use of the outdoor facilities are on a first come first serve basis. You do not have to be a Kress Events Center member to use the outdoor facilities. Use of the outdoor facilities may be limited in use due to physical education classes and other Kress Events Center recreation programs.
