Class Descriptions

No experience required for any class, all ages and fitness levels are welcome. Most classes are held in the Aerobics Studio at the Kress Events Center, unless otherwise specified.

You must bring a second pair of shoes to use the facility.

PILATES (pronounced "puh-lah-teez") – is a balanced blend of strength and flexibility training that improves posture, reduces stress and creates long, lean muscles without bulking up. Great for the core. You will feel longer and leaner after the first class.

YOGA – engages the mind, body, and spirit. It loosens joints and stretches muscles to improve posture and maintain strength and flexibility. Excellent way to unwind. It feels so good that you become addicted to it.

CARDIO KICK-BOXING – should be called cardio kick-butt. This class will tone your abs, buns, thighs and arms while at the same time getting a killer aerobic workout.

AB ATTACK – Combining exercises to tone and shape the rear (the butt) and the front (the abs).

CHISSELED – Make the most of your time in this intense, total body sculpting class that squeezes a 60-minute workout in 30.

AQUA CARDIO AND TONING – Time to heat up the pool! This 60-minute pool workout uses the natural resistance and buoyancy of water to provide an effective, low-impact routine.

BUTTS AND GUTS– is a class that gives you buns and abs of steel. You will use weights, bands, stability balls, and your own body weight to tone up your midsection and glutes. This class definitely leaves a mark!!mark!!

ZUMBA – Latin inspired cardio dancing….salsas, mambos, reggaetone, and hip hop. It’s time to ditch the workout and join the party.

STEP AEROBICS – A high powered workout that is great for getting crazy toned legs. You use a step and risers and your instructor leads you thru a fun cardio workout that has turbo charged music for an ultimate aerobics high.

CARDIO TONE – Use weights and calisthenics to sculpt and shape muscles high-rep and low-weight strength training.

RUNNING CLASS – Run outside with a group of friends, lead by a former cross country team member. You will start with a short run and build up to a longer run. It is for everyone – novices and conditioned athletes.

HULA HOOP –Just like it sounds….you will get to go back to your grades school days and hula hoop. The difference is, you find yourself sweating and toning from head to toe. The class is limited to 15 and hula hoops are provided.
