What kind of assistance will I receive?

TLC offers study groups, drop-in hours and individual academic mentoring.**

What is academic mentoring?

Academic mentoring is a way to learn through subject area experts who are students just like you, but have successfully completed the course material, usually with the same instructor. They have received additional training to help you succeed.

Where will this take place?

The newly renovated Learning Center location is on the 2nd floor plaza level of the Cofrin Library, CL 207, adjacent to the new Library Learning Commons. This new space can accommodate individual academic mentoring, drop-in hours as well as small group gatherings. The Writing Center services and tutors are located within the  Learning Center.
