October 8-19, 2009

Ellin Keene, Fall Conference 2009 Keynote Speaker "She is not afraid to redefine learning, education, and curriculum!"

"Her passion was undeniable!"

"The stories she shared with us gave her presentation life! It made what she had to say real."

Over 500 educators and community members from Northeast Wisconsin attended the Institute’s Fall Conference in early October.

Ellin Keene, a national literacy expert and former classroom teacher, staff developer, adjunct faculty, author, and co-author presented "Literacy Comprehension and the Development of the Intellect" at the keynote event.
