About 400 educators and
community members from Northeast Wisconsin attended
the Institute’s Fall Conference in early October.
Tom Guskey, Professor
of education policy and evaluation at the University
of Kentucky, presented, “Practical Ways to Meet the
Needs of Diverse Learners: Revisiting the Ideas of
Benjamin S. Bloom. Educators’ research showcase was
also part of the keynote event. Guskey’s Friday
morning workshop, Grading and Reporting Student
Learning: Policies and Practices That Work, was
attended by about 250 educators. The Institute
welcomed, Wisconsin Schools of Promise to share
their strategies as well.
