Andy Speth is the manager of the Learning Technology Center and the LTDC representative on the UW-Green Bay campus. He joined the University of Wisconsin Green Bay in June, 1999 as a computer user trainer and moved into the Learning Technology Center in May, 2000. Andy's first experiences with computers include punch cards and batch programming. Personal computers with 16 kb of RAM, living room television sets for output, and cassette tape recorders for storage were luxuries. Before coming to UW-Green Bay, Andy was a computer science teacher at Oconto High School and an independent computer consultant. He has a masters degree from Lesley College in Computer Technology in Education.
Leif Nelson has been an Instructional Designer and Technologist for the LearningTechnology Center since August of 2007. Before joining the LTC, Leif provided support and administration for learning technology at the University of Wisconsin-Superior, where he received a degree in English in 2005. He is happy to speak with you about such instructional technologies as D2L, wikis, clickers, audio and video editing software, and anything you may be interested in incorporating in your instruction.
Tyler Gajewski is currently a junior majoring in Art. Tyler started working at the LTC in early 2007 with proficiencies in Mac software, Microsoft Office, html, as well as digital photo and video editing. Prior to working at the LTC, Tyler graduated from Pulaski High school, worked for the Pulaski Community Schools Technology Department, as well as attended UW-Milwaukee. In his spare time, Tyler enjoys creating artwork, running, and spending time with his family, friends, and Macs.
Nathan Carlton started his college career at UWGB in the fall of '07 as a computer science major. Nathan started his love for computers back in high school where he built his own gaming computer, and fixed many others. He is currently running a full networked server from his dorm room, and can’t wait to get more. When not working on his computer, Nathan enjoys music, cars, sports, and friends.
Julie Harvey moved to Wisconsin five years ago after living in Pennsylvania, Florida, South Carolina, Iowa, Denver, and Oregon. She recently enrolled at UWGB in the Fall’08 as a computer science major. She has a degree in English from Rollins College in Winter Park, Fl. However, she has always enjoyed working within the computer technology field. Julie’s goal is to expand her computer hardware and software knowledge in order, to develop entertaining and educational interactive software.
