The Learning Technology Center (LTC) is a part of the UW-System Learning Technology Development Council (LTDC). The mission of the LTDC is to encourage System-wide collaboration and individual campus efforts which promote professional development in the effective use of learning technologies and explore new teaching and learning applications of existing and emerging technologies.
Briefly, we in the LTC support instructional technology to improve learning. We look for innovative solutions to instructional challenges, support existing technologies, happily discuss pedagogy, answer questions, write support documentation, put on workshops, and talk with people about their unique instructional needs.
The LTC provides all campus support for D2L, our web-based course management system. The D2L login page, which includes support documentation, computer requirements, and a link to the course request form, is located at: https://www.uwgb.edu/learntech/secure/. Instructors interested in using D2L but unsure of how to start or with questions on how to take the next step are encouraged to contact Andy Speth.
The LTC can be reached by phone (920.465.2286), email (learntech@uwgb.edu), or by stopping by Instructional Services 1008, Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
The LTC is managed by Andy Speth. He can be reached at x5019 and spetha@uwgb.edu. In-person visits are always welcome but a quick call or email first will ensure his availability.
