Support for Qualtrics online surveys

UW-Green Bay recently adopted Qualtrics as our campus supported online survey tool. This page includes basic information.

How to login: The login page for our Qualtrics instance is: https://sis.uwgb.edu/surveyservice/. Everyone logs in with their network username and password, the same one used for email, D2L, SIS, etc. No prior approval is needed to access the survey tool.

Limits on surveys: Everyone is allowed to create up to ten surveys. Anyone needing to create more than ten should contact Andy Speth or Leif Nelson in the LTC to have the restriction lifted.

Support from Qualtrics: Qualtrics has considerable support materials available online and a very good help desk. They can be contacted at support@qualtrics.com or 800-340-9194 (7 am to 6 pm Mountain Daylight Time).

Documentation: Our documentation is not yet available, however UW - Eau Clare is happy to share theirs. See: http://www.uwec.edu/help/Qualtrics.htm.

Select Survey being decommissioned: Our old online survey application, Select Survey, will be decommissioned by April 2010. Anyone with surveys or data in Select Survey should take steps immediately to get them off.

Moving surveys from Select Survey to Qualtrics: There is no process for exporting surveys from Select Survey and importing them into Qualtrics; all surveys must be recreated in Qualtrics. The LTC is happy to help. Contact Andy Speth or Leif Nelson if you'd like assistance recreating surveys in Qualtrics.
