The Library Administration support staff are part of the Information Services Administration office, located on the 7th floor of the library, Staff administer the program budget.
The Library Director oversees the daily operation of the library by leading and supporting the library staff in offering the highest level of service.

Public Services
The Circulation/Reserves area is the primary public service area of the library which checks in and loans material, reshelves items, processes overdue books and fines, and services copy machines.
Interlibrary Loan handles and processes the borrowing and lending of materials between UW-Green Bay and other libraries. Books and other materials not owned by the library can usually be obtained from other libraries.
Information Literacy and Outreach is responsible for the coordination of information literacy and outreach services including face-to-face and online library instruction, support of integrating information literacy into the curriculum through coordination with appropriate university units, and outreach and marketing of the libraries’ information services.Reference Service --The Reference Desk plays an active role in the intellectual life of the campus by facilitating the research process. We believe in the importance of developing critical thinking skills and mastering the research process as integral parts of the educational experience, and assist researchers in doing so.

Automation
Automation is responsible for coordinating, testing, conducting training, troubleshooting and maintaining the various library automation systems: integrated library system (Voyager), OpenURL resolver (SFX), federated search system (MetaLib) and interlibrary loan system (ILLiad). Also responsible for web site maintenance; electronic resources management, budgeting for technology purchases and maintenance; purchasing library hardware and software; initial troubleshooting of hardware; and routing maintenance of hardware and some software.

Collection Management
Collection Management is composed of Collection Development, Acquisitions and Serials. Collection Development selects materials for and manages the content of the book, journal, government document, and art slide collections. Faculty and staff recommendations for purchases are always welcome. Recommendations from students and other users are also considered. Acquisition's responsibilities include ordering, receipt, and physical processing of monographs, series, maps, and government publications in all formats, along with related vendor correspondence and claiming of unreceived volumes. Serial's responsibilities include the ordering, receipt, and management of journals, newspapers, annuals, and indexes, in various formats. Serials also conducts related vendor correspondence, claims unreceived volumes and issues, and posts invoices for serial receipts. Bindery processing and sorting the Library's mail are also responsibilities of the serials unit.

Cataloging
Cataloging's responsibilities include providing complete and accurate records in the online catalog for materials in a wide variety of formats, maintaining authority files for accurate collocation of materials, and providing subject enrichment of bibliographic records when needed. The cataloging team also maintains the Cofrin Library’s holdings in the international shared library database, WorldCat

Distance Education

UW Green Bay Archives & Area Research Center
The UW Green Bay Archives is comprised of The Area Research Center, Special Collections, and University Archives. The Area Research Center is the official repository for the Wisconsin Historical Society’s collections of manuscripts and public records relating to northeastern Wisconsin counties of: Brown, Calumet, Door, Florence, Kewaunee, Manitowoc, Marinette, Menominee, Oconto, Outagamie, and Shawano. Special Collections includes print materials pertaining to Northeastern Wisconsin history. Types of materials include books, census records, photographs, oral histories, Belgian-American research materials, and maps. University Archives contains nearly complete files of every university-generated publication; departmental and administrative records, and the records of individual faculty members. Official records in the University Archives range from basketball films to founding records of 1966, environmental impact statements, photographs, UW System budgets and correspondence of the Chancellor. Masters' theses are also housed in the University Archives.
