Come Hungry to Our Next Program!

Join the Friends (and come hungry) on Thursday April 3rd for Terese Allen, a food columnist and author of several cookbooks on regional cooking in Wisconsin. Terese will speak on "Specialties of the Lord's House: Food and Folklore at Wisconsin Church Suppers". She will lead listeners on a ethnic tour around the state, covering booyah picnics, hocks and sauerkraut suppers, madagh memorials, and others. Some of the dishes Terese mentions will be available for sampling afterward.

The event is free and open to the public through the support of the Wisconsin Humanities Council. Donations of $5 for nonstudents or $3 for students is suggested for persons wishing to sample the foods
