What is MetaLib?
Use MetaLib to
- Search up to 8 resources at once using one interface.
- Merge duplicate records from multiple databases
- Create a list of your favorite resources and e-journals.
- Store your searches for future use and set up e-mail alerts.
- Link to individual resources for more advanced searching.
- Link to full text and other options using
MetaLib Options
Quick Search is a great place to start your research! Use the General Quick Set to simultaneously search the Cofrin Library Catalog, Academic Search Elite and OmniFile Full Text. Or select one of the Subject Quick Sets that matches your research needs.
Custom Search allows you to customize your searches even more. Use Custom Search to find and search one or more databases grouped by subject.
Find Resources is an A-Z list of library resources that allows you to quickly find the resource you are looking for. Add frequently used resources to your My Resources list in My Space. Use the Resource List to see the A-Z listing with descriptions.
Find Journals allows you to search and connect to any of the library's many electronic journalsand see what we have in paper or microfilm. Use the Journal List to see the A-Z listing with availability dates.
Metalib Search Tips learn how to search, sort, print, e-mail or save results, set up alerts or set your viewing preferences.
