Contemporary Women's Issues

There are two (2) databases that give access Contemporary Women's Issues.

Depending on the type of information you are seeking, you will use one of the following databases:

  • CWI through First Search (opens new window) provides access to all of the databases in abstract format (no full text).
  • CWI through LexisNexis Academic Universe (opens new window) provides access to part of the database but in full-text . This can be a complicated database to use as it requires a few steps before you can implement your search. These steps are listed below.

To proceed: Select the name of the database once you've decided which database you want to use.


Steps to accessing the Contemporary Women's Issues database embedded in LexisNexis Academic Universe

  1. First go to LexisNexis Academic Universe (opens new window)
  2. Select the "Guided News Search" tab.
  3. News Category = "Business News"
  4. News Source = "Industry News"
  5. Enter in 1st Search term field: "contemporary women's issues" in "Full Text"
  6. Set date range to "all available dates".
  7. Enter search terms in available search term boxes.
