Fun with stacking
A Jenga tournament in the Cofrin Library? Yes. It was all part of the recent “Bash in the Stacks” night. More than 500 students roamed the stacks (bookshelf areas) for Nerf tag, games, trivia, a photo booth and a UW-Green Bay version of “Minute to Win It.” Local companies donated pizzas — the first 18 were gone in 10 minutes. Librarians say the event is a fun, effective way to get students to tour and discover the full range of resources, traditional and electronic, early in the semester. |
