Creative spark: Peshtigo Fire project earns
attention for Monday’s 'After Thoughts' speaker
The Press-Gazette carried a story recently about award-winning Prof. Rebecca Meacham. She'll be featured speaker Monday (Oct. 1) at the season-opening installment of the University's After Thoughts lecture and networking series. The newspaper previews Meacham's talk and offers a glimpse at her latest project, a history-based novel about the Peshtigo Fire of 1871. Learn more.

Malafa, and strong Foundation

When Diane Ford (near left) retired as VP of Integrys Energy Group, she insisted "absolutely no gifts!" Instead, the generous alumna encouraged well-wishers to add to the UW-Green Bay student scholarship fund she created last year. The result? More than $6,000 in new donations.
