If 12-12-12 is a big day for fans of Aaron Rodgers, all of 2012 has been big for fans of UW-Green Bay. With state and national professors of the year, Wisconsin's top library, record enrollment, more grads than ever, and a hoops team that was AP Top 10 on the court and No. 1 in the classroom, it has been a championship-caliber year. Chancellor cheers Rogers, Shrek

UW-Green Bay Chancellor Tom Harden was the first volunteer to don one of the fun Shrek headbands that arrived with the advance promotional material for the Jan. 13 Weidner Center engagement of the Tony-nominated Broadway musical. (See related item, above.) Harden plans on seeing "Shrek The Musical," and he'll also be in the audience for tonight's Weidner concert by American music legend Kenny Rogers.
