Student Curling Club ices 2014 collegiate title

The UW-Green Bay student curling club made history last month, topping an invited field of the nation's 16 best collegiate clubs to claim the first-ever USA Curling College Championship. With a skilled skipper from Switzerland and three former Wisconsin high school curling champions, the team swept past Villanova in the finals. Learn more

Students in Art Assistant Prof. Alison Stehlik's Design Methods 106 class were directed to observe the activities of their fellow students in certain locations across campus and to create large-scale art in response. The results, as you might expect, were creative... including oversize slot machines, muffins and Bobo the elevator elephant who exhibits the human nature to want to make oneself smaller as the car fills up.
