Using the spell checker in the HTML editor

Use the spell checker

  1. Click the Check spelling icon. A pop-up window opens, with spelling errors identified in red font. The spell checker highlights the first misspelt word in yellow, and displays suggested replacement text in the Suggestions drop-down list.
  2. Select the correct word from the Suggestions drop-down list and click Replace Once or Replace All.

  3. The spell checker will automatically prompt you with the next misspelt word.
  4. Click Apply to apply your changes.

Notes  Use the Ignore Once and Ignore All options when the spell checker prompts you to replace words that you do not want to replace, e.g., formal names, technical terminology not recognized by the spell checker, non-English words, etc.

To change the spell checker's language, select a language from the Language drop-down list. The default language is English (US).
