The Embed Video Extension is a MediaWiki extension which gives user the ability to embed video clips from popular video sharing services. Look below for supported services !

How to Use

Enter the following code:

• {{#ev:service|id}}
• service is the name of a video sharing service, such as youtube (See "service name" in the list below)id is the id of the video to include; in Youtube, the code is the string of letters after "v=" in the URL. For example in http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fIwlQOJWPC8 the id is fIwlQOJWPC8

Optional- Add one of these after ID with a pipe | preceding it

• width (optional) is the width in pixels of the viewing area (height will be determined automatically)
• align (optional) is an alignment (float) attribute. May be "left" or "right".
• desc (optional) is a short description to display beneath the video when it is aligned

(e.g., {{#ev:service|id|320|left|a video about cats}} means the video is 320 pixels wide, aligned to the left side of the page, and viewers would see "a video about cats" when the move their mouse over the video.

For example, to include the "Your favorite place on campus?" YouTube video, you'd enter:
