Edit and Format Code

In the edit screen, there are some strange characters surrounding some of the text. Here is a list of some of those characters, what they are used for, and how to incorporate them while you are editing. Use these tags or their corresponding buttons in any edit screen.

Equal symbols (=) on either side of text will make it large and bold and will make sections to be edited . Use more = symbols for subheadings.

Will create a link to another page; if the page does not exist, this will create a link to a new page with that title.

Type the asterisk in front of the text to be bulleted. Additional asterisks indent.

For a numbered list, place a # symbol in front of each numbered line of text. For a number and letter use two #'s.

FYI

Don't begin a paragraph with a space; it will put the text in a box, and will affect text wrapping. If you want to indent, use a colon ( : ).
