Sampath Ranganathan is an assistant professor of marketing for the Austin E. Cofrin School of Business at UW-Green Bay. He received his MBA from Bharathiar University (India) in 1996 and his Ph.D. in Marketing from the University of Memphis in 2008.
Dr. Ranganathan is currently teaching undergraduate and graduate classes in marketing, including introductory marketing, marketing research and strategic marketing. In the past he has taught courses in principles of marketing and integrated marketing communications. Sampath also has four years of teaching experience at both graduate and undergraduate level marketing courses in business schools in India.
Dr. Ranganathan’s research interests are in areas of e-services, service loyalty, customer satisfaction, total quality management, non-profit marketing, religious symbols in advertising and supply chain management. His works have been published in journals like Journal of Current Issues and Research in Advertising, International Journal of Quality and Reliability Management and International Journal of Nonprofit and Voluntary Sector Marketing. He has also written articles in business magazines and book chapters. He has reviewed articles for many marketing journals and conferences and is serving as the editorial review board member of International Journal of Social and Organizational Dynamics in IT.
Dr. Ranganathan serves as the advisor for the American Marketing Association collegiate chapter and Mu Kappa Tau at UW- Green Bay.
