Program Requirements
The 30-credit curriculum consists of a graduate core of six required courses, three elective management courses, and a professional project. The professional project is the capstone of the program's academic experience.
The graduate core provides students with a strong foundation for effective leadership and decision-making in organizations. The core courses are:
- Organizational Theory and Behavior
- Financial Information for Decision-making
- Team Dynamics and Problem-solving
- Marketing Planning and Strategy
- Financial Management
- Strategic Management
Elective Courses provide opportunities for students to pursue individual interests. Students choose three management elective courses from such courses as:
- Organizational Change and Transformation
- Leadership and Innovation
- Human Resource Management
- New Management Paradigms
- Managerial Statistics
- Organizational Communication and Conflict
- International Management
Students may satisfy elective course requirements through UW-Whitewater's on-line MBA program. All choice selections MUST have prior approval from UW Green Bay's Master's of Management Chair.
In the professional project, students examine a major organizational problem or issue and write a professional paper that demonstrates an application of management or organizational theory. Students complete the professional project at the end of their program.
