Community theatre is active and thriving in the Real North. We boast two beloved theatre organizations and a community choir. Theatre on the Bay and Children's Theatre have been entertaining residents and visitors for decades. West Shore Chorale has been performing since 1981 and has a unique dynamic, connecting community and university members across all age and ability levels. We also create art events and workshops for the community. Come experience a new era of theatre and arts.

In John Murrell’s "Waiting for the Parade," five Canadian women deal with their anxieties about World War II through courage, tension, humor and a little music. Follow these women while they endlessly wait for their men to return and discover their inner strength in the process. A story of uncommon courage.

Based on the iconic 1985 Paramount movie which was inspired by the classic Hasbro board game, Clue is a hilarious farce-meets-murder mystery. The tale begins at a remote mansion, where six mysterious guests assemble for an unusual dinner party where murder and blackmail are on the menu. When their host turns up dead, they all become suspects. Led by Wadsworth, the butler, Miss Scarlet, Professor Plum, Mrs. White, Mr. Green, Mrs. Peacock and Colonel Mustard race to find the killer as the body count stacks up. Tickets on sale April 1.

Roald Dahl's Matilda The Musical

UW-Green Bay, Marinette Campus

Theatre on the Bay will be hosting open auditions for adult and children actors 8+. Interested actors should prepare a short monologue (it doesn’t have to be memorized, a 1-minute musical piece and be ready to read excerpts from the script. Please send song tracks to Brittany Welch at bwelch2009@hotmail.com ahead of time, or be ready to connect to our Bluetooth speaker. All cast members will be chosen from auditions. Rehearsals will begin in May. Performances are July 19-21 and July 26-28, 2024.

West Shore Chorale

Fall 2024

West Shore Chorale is now accepting new members in preparation for the fall concert on Sunday, December 8. Full dress rehearsal Saturday, December 7.

West Shore Chorale has been performing since the 1981, when it was founded by David Giebler. The Chorale has a unique dynamic, connecting community and university members across all age and ability levels. The group is currently directed by Jane Wells. Registration for the fall semester is $35.

Youth Theatre Workshop

Join us June 17-21 at the Herbert L. Williams Theatre!

This workshop is designed to help young performers develop creativity, social skills, empathy and confidence through the performing arts as well as learning the process of auditioning and preparing for a full stage production.
