Introduction

You will create a web site for a mailorder company. This company will sell products using a web site. It needs to maintain a list of products and customers (as a database) as well as a shipping list of purchased items. Your site will be unified by styles and data collection from forms will be verified using JavaScript. You are responsible for a web page that lists exactly what you have done on the project and when you do it. This will be checked randomly during the semester, so you must keep it up to date.

Schedule

1. Week 1: Form group and select the type of company
2. Week 2: Collect information on the merchandise you will sell (for use in your database.
3. Week 3: Design the style sheets for your site
4. Week 4: Create the site map-divide the site into meaningful components and deside on the navigation method (map, arrows etc.) - Deside on the requirements for the project by the class as a whole.
5. Week 5. Design forms and do JavaScript necessary to check forms
6. Week 8. Plan for work done during semester break.
7. Week 9: Design the database
8. Week 10:Design servelets or ASP to work with forms
9. Week 11:Consider security matters and redesign pages
10. Week 12:Discuss and finalize the installation and stand alone run specs
11. Week 15 Complete the programs
