UW-Green Bay Music announces an innovative concert series designed to help you connect with music in more meaningful ways. Performances will feature scintillating and provocative discussions by a composer, performer or arranger. Together, you will consider a single aspect of the music through multiple perspectives. Diverse styles will be performed to broaden your horizons and deepen your understanding.

Feb 7 - Bob Washut & UWGB Jazz Ensemble - Famed jazz composer and arranger, Washut, discusses his creative process; the UWGB Jazz Ensemble performs his music.
Feb 28 - Pianist Nicholas Phillips - Phillips of UW-Eau Claire will perform works by Beethoven, Mendelssohn, Wickman, and Olivieri after his pre-concert lecture.
Mar 14 - UWGB Brass, Flute & Saxophone Ensembles - Performance to follow pre-concert talks by the directors of the ensembles.
Mar 28 - Exploring Jazz Styles - UWGB Faculty Jazz Combo and special guests featuring UWGB Prof. Adam Gaines.
Apr 18 - Form & Thematic Manipulation in Music - Lecture-recital with UWGB Prof. John Salerno.
May 2 - Premieres & Miniatures - UWGB Prof. Michelle McQuade Dewhirst offers insights on new works. UWGB faculty perform music written by and for the UWGB community.
