Dr. Randall Meder has been Director of Choral Activities at UW-Green Bay since 2006. He conducts the Concert Choir and Chorale, teaches Conducting and Choral Literature, and supervises student teachers in music education program. In 2009 he was named Artistic Director of the Green Bay Boy Choir, where he conducts the touring choirs Nicolet and Joliet. Before coming to Green Bay he was Director of Choral Activities at NC State University for five years. He taught high school choral music for four years in Wisconsin before returning to graduate school, and has continued to work as a clinician with ensembles in Wisconsin, Illinois and North Carolina. He is a frequent guest conductor throughout Wisconsin, and has worked with middle and high school choirs, church choirs, community and professional ensembles.

Dr. Meder studied choral music with Beverly Taylor, Fred Stoltzfus, Don Moses, Timothy Stalter, Scott MacPherson, Robert Fountain, and Robert Shaw. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Music Education and Master's degree in Choral Conducting from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and the Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Conducting and Literature from the University of Illinois.
