In recent years, students at UW-Green Bay have had the opportunity to sing for world-famous opera star Simon Estes, take a master class with Rhythm and Brass, work with the choral group Cantus and play with jazz greats Dave Holland and Kenny Werner.

The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay's campus-wide emphasis is on interdisciplinary learning, which means you are encouraged to interact with other campus departments and programs and community groups throughout your career. 15 ensembles offer many performance options. Groups such as the Hand Drumming Ensemble, Jazz, Opera Workshop, Choirs, and Pep Bands regularly perform on campus and in the community. Student-led combos often gig in local clubs and coffeehouses. UWGB students enter and place in such prestigious competitions as NATS, Metropolitan Opera auditions, Henry Silva Young Artists, NEW Arts Council Scholarships, and the Lakeshore Wind Ensemble Young Artists.
