About NAS

NAS is the Department of Natural and Applied Sciences at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. This department houses five disciplinary programs of study: Biology, Chemistry, Earth Science, Mathematics, and Physics; an interdisciplinary program of study in Environmental Science; and a pre-professional program of study in Engineering.

NAS currently has 33 faculty: five full professors, ten associate professors, twelve assistant professors, four lecturers, and two adjunct assistant professors. NAS faculty teach and engage in scholarship in both their disciplinary programs and the interdisciplinary program in Environmental Science. Many of the faculty make major contributions to the Environmental Science and Policy graduate program as well. NAS also has 14 staff members, including academic and classified staff as well as research associates.
