RESEARCH SPECIALIZATION:

My research is centered on plant and forest pathology. My ongoing research includes electron microscopic investigations on the pathways of systemic chemitherapeutants in wood species and forest trees in control of mycoplasma diseases of coconut (lethal yellows); oak (yellow leaf); eucalyptus (yellow leaf); sandal wood (spike disease); pear (pear decline); and citrus species (citrus de cline). Each species is an independent study as the internal conducting patterns vary greatly among species. This is very challenging research project in the field of "mycoplasma control".
