DESCRIPTION :
This training is intended for all county, private and tribal foster care coordinators and their supervisors who have NOT previously been trained on DCF 56 Administrative Code. The purpose of the workshop is to familiarize staff with the licensing code and certification process and will include:- A thorough review of reference materials provided:
- Review of DCF 56 to highlight interpretations;
- Review of items related to licensing and Levels of Care imitative;
- Licensing and Rate Setting scenarios
- Discussion of questions from the group
- Upcoming foster care related issues.
Note: Any foster care coordinator who has already attended a full DCF 56 training should not attend this training unless they want to review the information again.
