Foster Parent Foundation Training of Content

Description:
For people preparing to train foster parents in the Foster Parent Foundation training series required by the Department of Children and Families.

This three day training will review all the modules in the Foster Parent Foundation training as offered in the group format, highlighting the purpose and learning objectives of each; doing the group activities and viewing the videos; discussing any particular issues; and sharing tips for enhancing and managing the learning process of the Foster Parent Foundation.

Registrants will receive the curriculum and participant materials via e-mail after they register.  We will expect attendees to have read all the materials in advance and to bring their copy to the training.  Copies of the curriculum will not be available at the training.

You must complete this Training of Content before doing the training, and the curriculum will only be made available to those attending the training.

Who Should Attend?: Private Agency, Tribal or County staff preparing to train foster parents in the Foster Parent Foundation training series required by the Department of Children and Families.
