Collaborative Teaming in Human Services (150) Registration: 8:30 a.m.
DESCRIPTION : The NEW Partnership and the Behavioral Health Training Partnership are partnering to present Collaborative Teaming in Human Services. In this training participants will explore the underlying values of the collaborative teaming process and learn how through collaborative teaming, professional and natural supports come together to prevent crises and reduce the out-of-home placements and hospitalizations when situations begin to escalate. Participants will gain knowledge of the team process, collaborative crisis planning, and begin to practice team facilitation skills. COURSE OBJECTIVES:
TARGET AUDIENCE: This training is appropriate for child welfare (child protection services and juvenile justice), behavioral health, and other human services professionals who want to increase their knowledge and skills around collaborative teaming. The training is designed to have a mix of child welfare and behavioral health professionals participants. |
